About us
Giving art a home in the Wheatbelt
Driven by a group of passionate volunteers with a love of art and creativity, the Mainstreet Gallery first opened it doors for viewing in 2022.
Previously sitting unoccupied, the Mukinbudin Memorial Hall Old Road Board Office located in the Main street was lovingly renovated into a beautifully curated gallery space. Supporting both local and regional artists in Western Australia, the space celebrates the many forms of art operating for 12 weeks of the year for both locals and visitors to admire.
Who are we
The Mainstreet Gallery was an idea come to life through auspices under the Mukinbudin Planning and Development Group, a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the cultural, social, and physical aspects of our local community.
The Gallery is operated and manned by our volunteers, so give them a little thanks when you stop on by!
